Town of Farefell

Farefell, a strange town indeed, sits in between a body of water, and a forest of impossible largeness. It has a main road that leads out of town to the east and west, and various buildings contained within.

The centre of the town contains one Tavern, known as The Drunken Goat, though it makes no sense why, as the ones running the place are cats, not goats. They are not tabaxis, and rather seem to be regular domesticated cats, that walk upright. The bar is simple enough, tables, chairs, a bar, a kitchen (which no one is allowed in, aside from the cat staff), a small shop, a fireplace, and of course, comfy beds upstairs. But for some reason, the beds are only available when sleep is needed. To one side of the tavern, a casino sprang from nothingness, bringing amusement to the masses.

That's right, a magically popping up casino. And it just got weirder from there.

Outside the tavern, is a ring of shops if you can truly call them that. One, to the north east, contains nothing but dead things. The sign above proclaims it to be called Dead Things. Sprung to life when one Thoussabena Redbraid was imagining everything being dead. It contains skeletons (not undead, just skeletons), and various jars of specimens of different types. To the north west, a bizarre hybrid shop, named Mutts & Cuts, containing a slew of pets to be bought, but also basic melee weapons. To the south west, a general store, selling snacks, potions, and other basic items. There are two other empty shops to the south east, which upon viewing the interiors of, would leave the viewers confused and maybe afraid, as there is nothing to see, only blackness, until an adventure happens wherein they become of use.

To the far north of town, lays a forest, with no end in sight to it. Wolves, mice, and rats have been confirmed to live in the forest, but there are fears of larger, more problematic animals living within. This forest is known simply as The Endless Forest.

To the south of the town lays a body of water, that no one is quite sure what it is. It extends as far as the eye can see, in all directions. The residents refer to it as Lake Toadfen, however, despite you being quite sure there's no lake that is that large. It is teeming with different sorts of fish, seemingly whatever kind the fisherfolk are looking to catch that day. There are two docks, that generally do not have ships docked at them.

To the east are some farms, but as they have not been explored, no one is for certain what they are, or what, if anything, lives on them.

To the west is the town proper, with many colourful homes, a mayor's home which is quite a bit larger than that of the regular home, as well as a small school for the children who live in town. The residents all seem to be human, but are very strange and act like there is nothing to the world except for all that you can see.

The roads leading to the east and west out of town, as far as you can see, go no where, until they need to, then they will take you to wherever you may need to ever go.
